Red Storm sign first player for 2008-09

Norm Roberts and the Red Storm have begun the process of restocking their backcourt. The head coach of the men's basketball team announced today the signing of Quincy Roberts, a 6-foot-5 combo guard from Harrisburg, Pa. Norm Roberts announced Wednesday that he received the Red Storm's second signed National Letter of Intent of the off-season. After signing combo guard Quincy Roberts on Tuesday, the men's basketball head coach introduced another high school guard to the Red Storm faithful: 6-foot-4 Kentucky All-State TyShwan Edmondson.

St. John's Renews Norm Roberts' Contract

The theme for Red Storm basketball next year will be "new." There'll be a new Carnesecca Arena and a new backcourt. But the one thing that isn't changing is the head coach. Director of Athletics Chris Monasch announced the renewal of Norm Roberts' contract on Friday.
